Brushbox - 9.5mm Duro Plus Hybrid Flooring

Duro Plus Brushbox is a mid to dark red-brown with smooth, fine grain and little figure, the plainest of the dark boards in the range. Real brush box is a pinkish brown; this board is deeper and redder than that, closer to a mahogany or a stained jarrah, and it is the darkest decor in Duro Plus.

A smooth dark red floor is a formal one. It suits large rooms with plenty of natural light, pale walls and pale furniture, and it makes a small or dim room feel smaller. It shows dust and pale lint more than any mid tone, so it is a floor for someone who is happy to run a mop over it regularly.

The board is Duro Plus, an 8mm rigid core with 1.5mm of acoustic underlay bonded on for 9.5mm in total, with a 0.5mm wear layer. It is 1800mm long and 228mm wide, and on a plain decor like this the long board matters, because every end join shows.

Embossed matt finish, four-side micro bevel, drop lock click and a floating installation. Packs are three boards, 1.2312m2, 22kg. The floor tested P3 for wet slip to AS 4586:2013, carries a 25 year residential structural warranty, and is rated for interior use with in-slab hydronic heating only.
