Limewash - 15/4mm Prestige Oak Engineered Timber Flooring

Limewash is a warm golden oak with white pulled through the grain: the traditional limed finish, where pale pigment sits in the open pores and leaves the surface reading both warm and softened at once.

Liming is an old technique and it still looks good for a reason: it gives a floor visible texture and a sense of age without darkening it. The effect is strongest in raking light, where the whitened grain lifts against the golden ground. It suits coastal and country interiors, rooms with linen and pale joinery, and anywhere a plain golden oak would feel too flat.

It is the warmest of the pale boards in the range, noticeably more golden than White Sands, which has a similar brushed texture in a greige tone.

Prestige Oak is genuine European Oak with a 4mm wear layer over a 15mm engineered board: deep enough to sand back and recoat two or three times over its life, which laminate and hybrid never allow. UV-cured European polyurethane, superior matte, limited lifetime structural warranty, 20 years on the finish. Supply and install available across Sydney.

It is made in two profiles on the same 15/4mm board, tongue and groove and click. Pick the one your installer prefers at checkout. Tongue and groove can be direct stuck or floated; click is a floating install.

European Oak is a natural material. Variation between boards and between batches is expected and includes mineral streaks, black stain, medullary rays, knots, and slight surface checking and filling. This is the character of the timber, not a fault. We recommend ordering all material for a job at once.
