Marble - 15/4mm Prestige Oak Engineered Timber Flooring

Marble is the palest board in the Prestige Oak range: a very light white-grey with the faintest warm cast and grain so soft it barely registers from standing height.

A floor this pale is a design decision rather than a neutral default. It does more than any other board here to open up a room and bounce light around it, and it gives dark joinery, black fixtures and artwork the cleanest possible field to sit against. In a minimalist or Scandinavian interior it is the obvious choice.

It is also the least forgiving board in the range. Scuffs and marks disappear on it, but fine dust shows sooner than on anything with stronger grain. It belongs in a bedroom, a formal lounge or a study rather than a hallway or a house with a shedding dog. Straw or Parana give similar lightness with knots and grain to break up the surface.

Prestige Oak is genuine European Oak with a 4mm wear layer over a 15mm engineered board, sandable and recoatable two or three times over its life, which laminate and hybrid never are. UV-cured European polyurethane, superior matte, limited lifetime structural warranty, 20 years on the finish. Supply and install available across Sydney.

It is made in two profiles on the same 15/4mm board, tongue and groove and click. Pick the one your installer prefers at checkout. Tongue and groove can be direct stuck or floated; click is a floating install.

European Oak is a natural material. Variation between boards and between batches is expected and includes mineral streaks, black stain, medullary rays, knots, and slight surface checking and filling. This is the character of the timber, not a fault. We recommend ordering all material for a job at once.
