Swish Oak Wideboard Engineered Oak Flooring

Swish Oak Wideboard is engineered oak in Eco Flooring Systems' most generous format: 220mm wide by 2200mm long, 14mm thick with a 4mm sawn oak wear veneer over a multi-ply core. Eight decors.

The 4mm face is the whole argument for this range over Swish Oak Natura at 3mm. A thicker oak veneer can be sanded and refinished more times across its life, so the same floor can be brought back to looking new several times rather than reaching the end of the road after one restoration. On a floor you intend to keep for decades, that is the number to weigh.

The board proportion matters too. At 220 x 2200mm there are far fewer joins across a room than a standard board gives you, which is what makes a large open-plan floor read as calm rather than busy.

Installation is floating over underlay on the Valinge 5G locking profile, no glue required, with micro-bevelled edges on every board. Packs cover 2.905m2 across 6 boards at 25kg.

Manufactured to E1 with VOC emissions under 5ppm. It is a natural product, so colour and grain vary board to board and the tone matures under natural light over the years. Build a few days of on-site acclimatisation into the program before the installers start. Sydney supply and install, supply only, or bring your own installer.
