Cosmic Sand - 10mm Zenith 1800 Hybrid Flooring

Cosmic Sand is warmer and deeper than the name suggests: a golden honey-tan oak with clear, straight grain and moderate contrast, not the pale sand tone most people picture. It is the most classic warm timber colour in the Godfrey Hirst Zenith 1800 range, and it sits comfortably with cream and white walls, oak or walnut furniture and warm-toned kitchens. If you want something genuinely pale, Lunar Ash or Solar Drift are the two to look at instead.

Zenith 1800 uses an embossed-in-register surface, a construction few hybrid floors use. That means the texture you feel is physically aligned with the grain printed beneath it, rather than a random emboss rolled across every board. It is the single biggest difference between a hybrid floor that reads as timber and one that reads as printed film, and it shows most on an even, uncomplicated colour like this. The Trigon aerated acoustic M-Core and 1.5mm acoustic backing make it noticeably quieter underfoot than standard hybrid, the super matte PUR coating keeps glare down under downlights, and the 1800mm x 225mm boards click together floating with Uniclic: no adhesive.

Godfrey Hirst back it with a 25 year limited residential warranty, and it carries a P5 slip rating under AS 4586: the highest wet-slip classification, which very few timber-look floors achieve and which matters in entries, kitchens and anywhere that gets wet.
