More about this range
Zenith 1800 is Godfrey Hirst's 10mm hybrid on an 1800 x 225mm board, and twelve colours run from pale oaks through to a near-black. Boxes hold 4 boards covering 1.62m2, and a pallet covers 84.24m2.
Two things set it apart from most hybrid flooring. The first is that it is embossed in register, which few hybrids are: the surface texture is physically aligned to the grain printed underneath rather than a repeating emboss rolled across every board. Combined with the super matte PUR coating, that is what keeps it looking like timber rather than laminate, and it matters most on the dark colours where fake texture is hardest to hide.
The second is acoustics. The Trigon aerated M-Core and a bonded 1.5mm acoustic backing make it quieter underfoot than standard hybrid, with no separate underlay needed.
Slip resistance is rated P5 under AS 4586, which is the top wet-slip classification and worth having on any floor that will see wet footprints. Fire testing returns a CRF of 10.2kW/m2 with smoke at 105% minutes to EN ISO 9239. The wear layer is 0.5mm, edges are micro bevel, and installation is floating Uniclic.
Backed by a 25 year Godfrey Hirst limited residential warranty, with commercial by arrangement. Made under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified systems and compliant with Green Building Council VOC emission limits.
