Stellar Oak - 10mm Zenith 1800 Hybrid Flooring

Stellar Oak is the most olive-toned board in the Godfrey Hirst Zenith 1800 range: a muted mid brown with a distinct green-grey cast that sets it apart from the golden colours sitting either side of it. That undertone is the reason to choose it: in a room with a lot of western or northern light, warm golden boards can drift orange through the afternoon, and an olive-grounded brown simply does not. It pairs naturally with sage, stone, natural linen, unlacquered brass and pale timber joinery.

Zenith 1800 uses an embossed-in-register surface, a construction few hybrid floors use, where the texture is physically registered to the grain printed beneath it instead of being rolled on at random: the single clearest difference between a hybrid that reads as timber and one that reads as printed film. The build underneath is unusual too: a Trigon aerated acoustic M-Core with a 1.5mm acoustic backing already bonded to the board, so it is noticeably quieter underfoot than standard hybrid and there is no separate underlay to buy or lay. Super matte PUR coating to keep glare down, micro bevel edges, 1800mm x 225mm boards, floating Uniclic installation with no adhesive.

It carries a 25 year Godfrey Hirst limited residential warranty and a P5 slip rating under AS 4586: the top wet-slip classification, and unusual on a timber-look floor.
