Solar Drift - 10mm Zenith 1800 Hybrid Flooring

Solar Drift is the quietest colour in the Godfrey Hirst Zenith 1800 range: a pale warm greige-beige with very low grain contrast and a soft, even surface. Despite the name there is nothing bright about it; this is the board to choose when you want the floor to recede and let the joinery, furniture or a rug carry the room. Pale, low-contrast floors also hide the two things that annoy people most day to day: fine scratches and everyday dust.

What sets Zenith 1800 apart is the acoustic build. The substrate is a Trigon aerated acoustic M-Core with a 1.5mm acoustic backing already bonded to it, so there is no separate underlay to buy or lay and the floor is genuinely quieter underfoot than standard hybrid, worth real money in an apartment, an upstairs living area, or anywhere a body corporate has something to say about sound between levels. It also uses an embossed-in-register surface, a construction few hybrid floors use, where the texture follows the printed grain instead of being rolled on at random. Super matte PUR coating, micro bevel, 1800mm x 225mm boards, floating Uniclic installation.

It is covered by a 25 year Godfrey Hirst limited residential warranty and rated P5 for slip resistance under AS 4586: the top wet-slip classification, and unusual on a timber-look floor.
