Parkview Gardens - Rosebery - 12.5mm Cut Pile Carpet

Rosebery is a dark grey-green: a deep sage-charcoal that stops just short of black and keeps a clear botanical undertone. It is the colour for rooms you want to feel enclosed and quiet: a media room, a study, a basement rumpus, or a hotel-style main bedroom with heavy curtains. It also handles a busy household well, because at this depth soil and shoe marks simply do not register the way they do on the pale half of the range. Two comparisons are worth making inside Parkview Gardens. Mosman is the same sage character at a mid, much lighter value, and is the better pick if the room is small or short on windows, because Rosebery will absorb a lot of light. Mona Vale is darker again and swings blue-green rather than sage, so it reads colder and more architectural.

The carpet is a Belgotex tufted cut pile in 100% stainproof solution dyed nylon on a FusionBac backing. Dark colours are where solution dyeing earns its keep most visibly: pigment locked inside the filament means no chalky fading along a sunlit edge and no pale wear stripe where the pile gets crushed.

This is the 12.5mm Parkview Gardens build, the firmer half of Belgotex's official colour crossover with Riverside Reserve. The two ranges carry the same ten colour names, and the only meaningful difference is pile depth: Riverside Reserve is a 17.0mm plush, Parkview Gardens a shorter 12.5mm cut pile. On a very dark colour that distinction is easy to see. A deep pile shows every vacuum stripe and footprint against dark yarn, while this 12.5mm build stays far more even and is the safer specification for stairs, hallways and commercial areas. The flecked yarn through the range adds another layer of mark-hiding.
