Riverside Reserve - Rosebery - 17mm Cut Pile Carpet

Dark grey-green, deep and quiet, Rosebery is the colour that makes the most of a 17.0mm pile. At this depth a dark yarn reads almost like velvet, with the tips catching light and the base disappearing into shadow, so it has far more character than a dark carpet usually manages. It is a room-defining colour rather than a background one: a main bedroom you want to feel like a hotel suite, a formal lounge, a library or study. Within this range Mosman is the same sage character at a far lighter value and the better option if the room is small or poorly lit, because Rosebery will absorb a lot of light. Mona Vale is darker again and cooler, swinging charcoal-green rather than sage. Lint and pet hair are the practical caveat on any dark colour.
