Parkview Gardens - Waverley - 12.5mm Cut Pile Carpet

Of the pale colours in Parkview Gardens, Waverley is the most golden: a warm sand-gold wheat that carries a genuine yellow note rather than the barely-there warmth of Auburn. In a bedroom with afternoon sun it glows, and it is the obvious partner for blackbutt or spotted gum floors, rattan, linen and anything leaning Mediterranean or mid-century. Because it commits to that warmth, it will not sit quietly in a cool grey scheme. Next to cool white walls and black-framed windows it can read slightly yellow, and Oatley or Castle Cove are the better answers there. Think of it as the light end of the same warm line that runs through Bronte, which is the same idea taken several shades deeper into caramel.
