Latte Oak - 14/3mm Crosswood Engineered Timber Flooring

Crosswood Latte Oak is a pale greige oak in a herringbone block, a soft warm grey-cream with gentle grain and little variation. It is the coolest and quietest of the three pale blocks: Limed Wash has more visible grain and Raw Timber is warmer and creamier.

Pale herringbone gives a room pattern without weight. It suits apartments, hallways and smaller living rooms where a dark parquetry would overwhelm, and it pairs with white and warm grey walls, pale timber and soft textiles. Like every pale floor it shows dust and marks sooner than a mid tone.

Each block is 600mm by 127mm and 14mm thick, with a 3mm European oak veneer over a plywood core, so the floor can be lightly sanded and recoated later in its life. Blocks have a tongue and groove profile, go down by direct fix as HTT recommends for its 14mm and 15mm boards, and carry a micro bevel on all four edges.

The surface is finished at 5 to 8 percent gloss. ABCD grading allows knots, checks and colour variation between blocks. A pack holds 24 blocks, 1.8288m2, and weighs 16.5kg. The floor tested P3 for wet slip to AS 4586:2013. Residential warranty is 25 years structural and 7 years on the finish; wet areas and steam mops are excluded.
