Magnolia is a creamy golden blonde with a warm, buttery undertone and softly figured grain - light in feel, though not among the palest boards here, which are Floria and Nutmeg. The direct comparison is Eggshell, and the two are far closer than their names suggest: both are warm honey oaks, with Magnolia the slightly lighter and creamier of the pair and Eggshell carrying a little more tan. It suits Hamptons and coastal interiors, warm white walls, and homes that want a light-feeling floor without the clinical edge. It is not the right pick if your palette is built on cool greys and black metal, where the warmth will read as a mismatch rather than a choice.

Warm pale floors are the most forgiving of the light decors in daily use, because the yellow base means dust and fine grit sit closer in tone to the board itself. Magnolia works well through bedrooms and living areas, and it is an easy partner for rattan, linen and oak furniture. It is less convincing in a room dominated by cool artificial light.

Swish Bespoke Laminate Flooring is a 12mm floating laminate on a 1518 x 236mm board - shorter and wider than the long planks that dominate the category, which keeps the pattern repeat tight in rooms broken up by doorways and joinery. The surface is matt with EIR embossing. EIR means embossed in register: the texture pressed into the board is aligned to the printed grain, so the ridge you feel sits where the grain you see falls. EIR appears on other ranges in this catalogue too, but against flat-printed laminate it is the difference you notice first. All four edges are micro-bevelled and boards join with Välinge 2G locking, folding down over underlay with no glue.

Swish Bespoke is rated AC4 for abrasion, certified E1 for VOC emissions, and specified for dry interior areas of private homes and commercial establishments - not for bathrooms, laundries or anywhere regularly wet.
