Parkview Gardens - Bronte - 12.5mm Cut Pile Carpet

Bronte is the brown in Parkview Gardens: a mid warm golden-brown caramel with enough gold in it to stay lively rather than reading as flat chocolate. It is a deliberately warm, traditional choice: it suits federation and Californian bungalow interiors, rooms with heavy curtains and older timber joinery, and anywhere a cool grey floor would feel unwelcoming. Practically it is one of the most forgiving colours in the range, because a mid-brown with a fleck through it hides dropped crumbs, garden soil and pet hair far better than any of the pales. The honest caveat is that it dates a contemporary all-white interior quickly; Waverley is the lighter, sandier way to keep the warmth without the commitment to brown, and Auburn is more neutral again.

Construction is Belgotex's tufted cut pile in 100% stainproof solution dyed nylon, laid over FusionBac. Rich browns are the colours most likely to show a wear path as a lighter stripe on cheaper carpets; here the pigment runs through the fibre, so scuffing the surface does not expose a paler core.

That makes it the right call for whole-house jobs where the same colour has to run from bedrooms through to the entry.
