Swish Aqua - Madrid Oak - 12.3mm Laminate Flooring

Madrid Oak is a cool smoked grey, not the warm honey oak the name suggests - a mid-to-dark board with a soft charcoal-brown base, fine even grain and very little colour push in any direction. It is the closest thing in the Swish Aqua range to a true grey floor, and Oak Colonial is the only other decor in the same family: Colonial is rustic and heavily figured, Madrid is smoother and far more uniform. It suits apartments and modern builds with black or charcoal hardware, concrete and stone finishes, and cool white walls. If warm honey oak is what you actually want, Madrid is the wrong board and Oak Georgia is the right one.

An even mid-tone like this is the most flexible thing you can put on a floor: dark enough to hide grit, light enough not to close a room in, and calm enough that it will not argue with a rug. Madrid Oak is a sensible whole-of-house choice when different rooms have different palettes.

Swish Laminate Aqua is a 12.3mm laminate on a long 2200 x 196mm board - a genuinely long plank that stretches a room visually and cuts the number of end joints across a floor. Edges are micro-bevelled and boards join with the Välinge 5G locking profile, a drop-and-lock system that floats glueless over underlay without tapping blocks. The functional difference is the Aqua core, which resists moisture instead of swelling at the first spill. That is resistance, not waterproofing - laminate is never waterproof - so talk to us before specifying it for a bathroom or laundry. For kitchens, entries and family living it is far more forgiving than a conventional laminate core.

VOC emissions are certified below E1, packs run 2.16 m2 over five boards and weigh 23kg, and the range is approved for interior areas in homes and commercial premises. A 25 year warranty covers private use. Supply and install available across Sydney.
