Swish Aqua - Oak Nashville - 12.3mm Laminate Flooring

Oak Nashville is the darkest decor in the Swish Aqua range - a deep greyed brown, close to charcoal in places, with muted rustic grain and shadowy figuring rather than the mid-brown reclaimed look the name suggests. Oak Colonial is the nearest comparison here: both are cool and weathered, but Colonial is lighter and greyer while Nashville is darker and browner. It suits high-contrast interiors with white walls and pale joinery, and rooms with enough natural light to carry the depth. It is not the board for a small or dim space, and it is not the board if you want warmth underfoot.

Dark floors ask more of a cleaning routine than mid-tones do: dust and pale pet hair are visible on them within a day. In return they hide scuffs, dark marks and wet-shoe traffic remarkably well, and on a 2200mm board the figuring has room to spread out rather than repeating every metre. Nashville is the board that makes white kitchens and pale furniture look intentional rather than accidental.

Every board in the Swish Aqua range is built the same way: 12.3mm thick, 2200 x 196mm, micro-bevelled, and joined with the Välinge 5G locking profile so the floor goes down floating and glueless over underlay. What you are really buying is the Aqua core - a core engineered to resist moisture, which is why the range is not restricted to dry areas the way conventional laminate is. Be clear-eyed about it though: resisting moisture is not the same as being waterproof, and laminate never is. Have a conversation with us before specifying Aqua for a bathroom or laundry.

VOC emissions are certified below E1, packs run 2.16 m2 over five boards and weigh 23kg, and the range is approved for interior areas in homes and commercial premises. A 25 year warranty covers private use. Supply and install available across Sydney.
