What is in the range
Hybrid6.5mm to 10mm, rigid core with pre-attached acoustic backing, waterproof through the board. The everyday default for most of the homes we quote.
Laminate8mm and 12mm, including water resistant ranges rated for wet areas. The most cost effective way to get a convincing timber look over a large floor area.
Engineered timberReal oak or Australian hardwood veneer over a stable plywood core, floating or glue-down, in plank, herringbone and chevron. It can be sanded and recoated later in its life.
Vinyl plank and tileIncluding looselay, which can be lifted and relaid. Useful in rentals and in rooms where the subfloor may need access later.
Broadloom carpetWool and solution dyed nylon, cut pile and loop pile. Still the best answer for a bedroom that needs to feel warm and quiet.
Carpet tilesCommercial specifications for offices, gyms and rental properties. A damaged tile gets swapped rather than the room getting recarpeted.
Three ways to buy
You do not have to buy the labour with the boards. The right route depends on your budget, your timeline and how handy you are.

Supply and install
We measure, quote, order and lay it. One point of contact, one invoice, and the responsibility for the finished result sits with us. Best if the job involves stairs, a subfloor that needs work, herringbone, or glue-down engineered timber, all of which punish inexperience.

Supply only, and you lay it
Buy the product, take it away or have it delivered, do the work yourself. Floating floors are DIY-able in a straightforward rectangular room with no height transitions. Plenty of our customers have laid their own bedrooms and hallways and been happy with them.
We will still measure the space for you if you want the quantities checked before you commit. Getting the order wrong is the expensive part of DIY, not the laying.

Bring your own installer
You have a trade contact, a family member in the game, or a builder already on site. Buy the flooring from us and have them lay it. We stay available through the job: if your installer hits something unexpected, they can call us or come in, and we will work through it with them.
Tell us at the point of order that you are going this way, so the underlay, trims and any transition profiles go out with the product rather than becoming a second trip.
Choosing by room
- Kitchens, laundries, bathrooms. Hybrid or vinyl. Both handle standing water in a way laminate and timber do not. Water resistant laminate is a middle option if the room only ever sees splashes.
- Hallways and living areas. Anything hard wearing. Look at the wear layer figure rather than the total thickness, because that top layer is what takes the traffic.
- Bedrooms. Carpet still wins on comfort and on sound. If you want a hard floor upstairs, acoustic underlay matters more than it does on a slab.
- Apartments. Check your strata by-laws before you buy. Most buildings set a minimum acoustic rating for hard flooring, and it is cheaper to know that first.
- Offices, gyms, rental properties. Carpet tiles. A damaged tile gets swapped rather than the room getting recarpeted.
If you are laying it yourself
Five things that account for most DIY floors going wrong.
- Acclimatise the boards. Leave the unopened packs flat in the room for 48 hours before you start. A floor laid cold and tight will buckle when the room warms up.
- Leave the expansion gap. Every wall, every door frame, every fixed cabinet. Skirting or scotia covers it afterwards. A floating floor that is pinned at one edge has nowhere to move.
- Check the substrate for level before you open a single pack. A long straight edge and a spirit level will tell you in ten minutes. Hollows get self-levelled, not ignored.
- Use the right underlay. Some hybrids have it pre-attached and adding more voids the warranty. Check the spec sheet on the product page.
- Order about 10% over. Cuts, waste and the occasional damaged board are normal. Coming back for one extra pack risks a different batch with a slightly different shade.
Samples, measures and getting it home
Come into the showroom at 111 Station Road, Auburn, and see the boards in daylight rather than under a screen. Colour on a monitor is unreliable, particularly on greys and on anything with a grey-brown cast.
Measure and quote are free whichever of the three routes you take. Flooring is heavy and is charged for delivery, so pickup is worth considering on smaller jobs. Our free Australia-wide delivery applies to rugs, not to flooring.

Common questions
Can I change my mind and have you install it after all?
Yes, as long as the product has not been opened and cut. Call us before you start.
Do you sell underlay, trims and scotia separately?
Yes, along with door bars, stair nosings and adhesive. These are the things DIY orders most often forget.
What warranty do I get if I lay it myself?
The manufacturer's product warranty still applies. What you do not get is a workmanship warranty, which is the part that covers the laying rather than the boards. Manufacturers can decline a claim where the failure was caused by installation, so follow the spec sheet.
How much do I need?
Length by width of each room, added together, plus about 10%. Bring your dimensions in or ask for a measure and we will do it properly.
