Preference Floors
Preference Floors is the largest single supplier in Adore's flooring catalogue, with 157 products across nine ranges and four floor types.
The hybrids run from Easi-Plank at 7.5mm, also sold as EasiPlank and available as both plank and herringbone, through Iconic and Hydroplank in WPC, to Aspire in rigid core. Lifestyle Collection sits at the top: 12mm with a 0.7mm commercial grade wear layer where residential hybrid normally runs 0.3mm to 0.5mm.
In laminate there is Oakleaf HD Plus, Oakleaf and AquaStop. In engineered timber, Prestige Oak.
One thing worth knowing across the hybrid ranges: every one of them comes with acoustic underlay already bonded to the board, either 1.5mm or 2mm depending on the range. There is no separate underlay to buy or lay, and in an apartment or a second storey that attached layer is what keeps the floor from sounding hollow to the room below.
Warranties run to 25 years limited structural on the hybrids. Sydney supply and install, supply only, or bring your own installer.

White Oak is the light warm blonde-tan of the Lifestyle Collection, with clear, evenly spaced grain and none of the golden weight Spotted Gum carries. Despite the name it is not a white or limed board. It is a true...

Travertine is the quietest board in the Lifestyle Collection: a pale cream-beige with very little grain movement, closer to a stone read than a timber one. That is unusual in a hybrid range, where the default is to print as...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Spotted Gum is the warmest and most strongly figured board in the Lifestyle Collection: a rich golden-amber with pronounced grain movement across the face. It is the closest thing in the range to a traditional Australian hardwood floor, and it...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Oatmeal is the palest board in the Lifestyle Collection: a near-white cream carrying a faint green-grey cast that stops it reading as stark or clinical. Against white walls it recedes and lets furniture do the talking; against warm timber joinery...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Husky Grey is the cool pale of the Lifestyle Collection: a soft grey-greige with a genuine cool cast, where Almond and Blissful sit warm. That makes it the one to choose for a contemporary scheme with white walls, black tapware...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Carbon is the darkest board in the Lifestyle Collection: a near-black charcoal-brown with restrained grain and very little variation between planks. It is the most dramatic floor in the range and the least forgiving: dust, lint and footprints show on...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Blissful is the calmest board in the Lifestyle Collection: a pale warm greige-beige with very low grain contrast and almost no tonal shift between planks. It is a shade lighter and a touch warmer than Almond, and it is the...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Blackbutt in the Lifestyle Collection is a warm golden-tan with clear, open grain: a fuller reading of the species than the pale golden-with-olive tone real blackbutt lays at, so worth comparing if you are matching existing boards. On its own...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Almond is a soft pale greige-taupe with gentle grain and low contrast between boards, warm enough to feel inviting, neutral enough that it will not argue with a kitchen you have not chosen yet. It is the most broadly useful...

Staten Island is a pale greige with heavy open knots and strong variation from board to board: rustic in the same family as Coney Island, but warmer and a shade deeper. The knots are the whole character of it, and...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Spotted Gum in the Hydroplank range is a rich mid golden-brown with dark streaking driven through the grain: a fair reading of the species, which runs honey through amber to brown with far more plank-to-plank variation than oak. It is...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Soho is the one board in the Hydroplank range with a green cast: a weathered pale grey pulled towards sage rather than blue or beige. That undertone is worth knowing about before you order, because it is not subtle in...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Queens is the grey of the Hydroplank range: a mid cool tone with strong weathered striation running the length of each board. The striation is what makes it work: grey floors can flatten into something that reads as painted concrete,...

Marble Hill is the palest and smoothest board in the Hydroplank range: a soft cream with a faint pink cast and almost no grain movement between planks. It is the floor to choose when you want a room to feel...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Hudson Oak is the conventional warm oak of the Hydroplank range: a mid golden-tan with even, unfussy grain and no stain pulling it grey or red. It is the safe middle of the range in the best sense: dark enough...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Harlem is the most distinctive floor in the Hydroplank range and the one that needs explaining before you order. It is deliberately multi-tonal: pale, mid and warmer planks laid together, so a single board photo tells you very little about...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Hamptons is a pale cool greige with soft grain and very low contrast: the quietest board in the Hydroplank range, and the one to choose when the floor should recede and let the joinery, furniture or a rug carry the...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Coney Island is the weathered pale of the Hydroplank range: a grey-white board with open knots and enough tonal movement between planks to look genuinely reclaimed rather than printed. It is the most rustic colour here, and that character is...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Blackbutt in the Hydroplank range is a warm golden-amber: a fuller, more saturated reading of the species than the pale golden-with-olive tone real blackbutt lays at. If you are matching existing blackbutt boards elsewhere in the house, ask us to...

Astoria is a light warm sandy tan with soft, even grain and very little tonal shift between boards: one of the most easygoing colours in the Hydroplank range. It is warm without being golden, which makes it unusually flexible: it...

Wheat is a light warm golden-tan, brighter than Oak Natural and warmer than Porcelain, sitting in the gap between the pale and the golden ends of the Easi-Plank Herringbone range. It is the colour to choose when you want a...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Red Stone is the darkest and most characterful colour in the Easi-Plank Herringbone range: a mid-dark reddish brown with grey smoked through it, so the red never becomes orange. It is the closest thing here to a traditional stained parquetry...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Porcelain is the palest colour in the Easi-Plank Herringbone range: a warm cream-greige, lighter than Pewter and with warmth where Pewter is cool. That warmth is what makes it the easier of the two pale options to live with: it...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Pewter is the pale cool grey of the Easi-Plank Herringbone range: a soft grey-white with minimal grain and very little contrast between blocks. It is the quietest colour here, and it produces the most contemporary herringbone floor: the pattern reads...
