Preference Floors
Preference Floors is the largest single supplier in Adore's flooring catalogue, with 157 products across nine ranges and four floor types.
The hybrids run from Easi-Plank at 7.5mm, also sold as EasiPlank and available as both plank and herringbone, through Iconic and Hydroplank in WPC, to Aspire in rigid core. Lifestyle Collection sits at the top: 12mm with a 0.7mm commercial grade wear layer where residential hybrid normally runs 0.3mm to 0.5mm.
In laminate there is Oakleaf HD Plus, Oakleaf and AquaStop. In engineered timber, Prestige Oak.
One thing worth knowing across the hybrid ranges: every one of them comes with acoustic underlay already bonded to the board, either 1.5mm or 2mm depending on the range. There is no separate underlay to buy or lay, and in an apartment or a second storey that attached layer is what keeps the floor from sounding hollow to the room below.
Warranties run to 25 years limited structural on the hybrids. Sydney supply and install, supply only, or bring your own installer.

Tan is a light beige-grey with heavy knotting and pronounced rustic character: one of the busiest prints in the Aquastop range, but in a pale tone rather than a dark one. That combination is genuinely useful and not common. Pale...

Sunshine is the warmest board in the Aquastop range: a reddish chestnut brown with strong grain and genuine colour saturation, closer to a traditional Australian hardwood than to any European oak. Red-brown floors have a specific job. They suit period...

Sunset is a mid warm brown carrying a grey undertone: rich and layered, with darker passages moving through the grain that give the floor depth across a large area. The grey running beneath the warmth is what makes it work...

Strasbourg is a pale warm greige, exceptionally smooth, with minimal grain contrast and a soft neutral cast that sits almost exactly between warm and cool. It is the most neutral board in the entire Aquastop range, and that is its...

Snow is one of the two palest boards in the Aquastop range: a very light cool grey-white with soft, low-contrast grain and a faint warmth that keeps it from feeling clinical. Pale floors earn their place by what they do...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Sand is a pale greeny-grey beige with scattered knots and a limed, softly weathered finish: a light board with genuine texture rather than a flat pale surface. It sits in useful territory. Light enough to brighten a room and open...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Rock is a pale silvery grey: clean, cool and finely grained, the most straightforwardly contemporary board in the Aquastop range. Cool greys are the easiest colour to furnish around, because almost nothing clashes with a neutral silver-grey. It is the...

Rift is a mid greige oak with rustic character: visible knots, splits and natural cracks running through the grain, and enough variation between boards that the floor has real movement across a room. That variation is doing practical work as...

Queen is a pale weathered grey with a soft green cast: a limed, sun-bleached look with low contrast and gentle grain, closer to driftwood than to a modern grey oak. The green undertone is what makes it interesting. It keeps...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Platinum is the darkest grey in the Aquastop range: a mid-dark grey-taupe with smooth, restrained grain and a distinctly cool cast. Dark greys do something warm boards cannot: they read as architectural. Against white walls, black steel, concrete or glass,...

Natural Classic is the most golden board in the Aquastop range: a bright honey oak with clear flowing grain and genuine warmth, the closest thing here to freshly finished Australian hardwood. It is the traditional choice and the one that...

Montreux is the deepest brown in the Aquastop range: a smooth mid-dark oak with warm undertones and restrained grain, closer to walnut than to any pale European oak. Dark floors are a commitment worth being honest about. In an open-plan...

Manhattan is a light warm tan: a honeyed blonde oak with clean, flowing grain and no rustic knotting, bright without tipping into yellow. Blonde floors returned after a decade of grey dominance, and they are more practical than they look....
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Lugano is a pale warm sandy beige: clean, fine-grained and quiet, with none of the knots or rustic character that mark the busier boards in the Aquastop range. It is the warm counterpart to Interlaken. Where that board is cool...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Interlaken is the palest board in the Aquastop range: a near-white cool grey with such low contrast that the grain reads as a whisper rather than a pattern. Its job is light. A floor this pale reflects what light a...

Helsinki is a mid olive-grey oak: a smooth, flowing grain with a faint green cast that lifts it out of the usual grey-brown territory and gives it a distinctly Nordic character. That green undertone is the whole point of it....
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Ecru is the most rustic board in the Aquastop range: a grey-brown oak carrying heavy knots, splits and sawn texture, closer to reclaimed barn timber than to a clean modern floor. That character does real work. No other board here...

Brooklyn is a mid greige oak: a warm-leaning taupe with moderate grain movement and enough depth that it reads as a considered colour rather than a default neutral. It sits between the pale Swiss-named boards in the Aquastop range and...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Wolf Grey is warmer than the name suggests. It is a mid greige-taupe with a clear brown undertone and visible grain, not the cool grey most people picture when they read "grey" on a flooring page. That matters, because greige...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Spotted Gum here is a mid warm brown with a reddish cast and strong striping through the grain: a fair reading of the species, which runs honey through amber to mid brown with far more plank-to-plank variation than oak. It...

Silk Grey is the true grey of the Preference Floors Oakleaf HD Plus range: a mid cool grey with clear striation running the length of the board and no warmth pulling it towards beige. If you want a floor that...

Sierra Oak is the warmest of the pale boards in the Preference Floors Oakleaf HD Plus range: a light blonde-tan with a smooth, even grain and very little tonal shift between planks. Set beside Alpine Mist it carries a touch...

Natural is exactly what the name promises: a light warm tan-beige oak with open knots and honest grain movement, the look of an untinted board with a clear coat over it. It is the most characterful of the pale colours...

Hickory is the straightforward warm mid-tone in the Preference Floors Oakleaf HD Plus range: a brown-tan with genuine warmth and an even, unfussy grain that does not compete with anything else in the room. It is the colour people land...
