Preference Floors
Preference Floors is the largest single supplier in Adore's flooring catalogue, with 157 products across nine ranges and four floor types.
The hybrids run from Easi-Plank at 7.5mm, also sold as EasiPlank and available as both plank and herringbone, through Iconic and Hydroplank in WPC, to Aspire in rigid core. Lifestyle Collection sits at the top: 12mm with a 0.7mm commercial grade wear layer where residential hybrid normally runs 0.3mm to 0.5mm.
In laminate there is Oakleaf HD Plus, Oakleaf and AquaStop. In engineered timber, Prestige Oak.
One thing worth knowing across the hybrid ranges: every one of them comes with acoustic underlay already bonded to the board, either 1.5mm or 2mm depending on the range. There is no separate underlay to buy or lay, and in an apartment or a second storey that attached layer is what keeps the floor from sounding hollow to the room below.
Warranties run to 25 years limited structural on the hybrids. Sydney supply and install, supply only, or bring your own installer.

Latte is a warm mid golden-brown: a tobacco-toned oak with even grain and a settled, unfussy character. It is the middle of the warm range: deeper than Tan, lighter than Dark Brown, and without the olive cast of Chestnut. Mid...

Iron Grey is a mid-dark smoky grey-brown with strong plank-to-plank variation: some boards reading almost charcoal, others distinctly brown, with a wire-brushed surface that gives the floor texture as well as colour. It is the darkest grey in the Prestige...

Hex Grey is a very pale greige with a faint pink undertone: one of the lightest boards in the Prestige Oak range, with soft grain and almost no contrast across the surface. Its job is brightness and space. A floor...

Heritage Grey is the most characterful board in the Prestige Oak range, and the name undersells it badly. It is not a grey floor. It is a deliberately mixed board where dark chocolate, golden honey and mid-brown planks sit side...

Grey Mist is a pale, soft grey-beige: a gently greyed oak with low contrast and quiet grain, the lightest of the true greys in the Prestige Oak range. Pale greys are the easiest timber floors to furnish around, because almost...

Espresso is worth looking at properly, because the name sets the wrong expectation. It is not a dark coffee brown. It is a warm mid golden-amber oak, closer to honey than to anything espresso-coloured, with rich flowing grain and real...

Ebony is the darkest board in the Prestige Oak range: a near-black oak with a faint purple-brown undertone and grain still readable through the depth of the stain. This is the most dramatic floor here, and it is genuinely striking...

Dark Brown is a deep chocolate oak: rich and warm, with strong grain running visibly through the depth of colour rather than disappearing into it. Dark timber floors are a commitment worth being clear about. In a room with generous...

Chestnut is a mid olive-brown: a smoked, slightly khaki oak with open knots and visible grain, warmer than the greys in the Prestige Oak range but cooler and more complex than the golden browns. The olive undertone is what makes...
AVAILABILITY: In stock (1000 items)
Castle Grey is a mid grey-brown with pronounced variation from board to board: some planks lean brown, others distinctly grey, and the wire-brushed surface catches light differently across the floor. That variation is the point. A greyed timber floor with...

Avola Natural is European Oak left to look like itself: a bright golden honey tone with clean flowing grain and no stain pushing it warmer or cooler. It is the most natural-looking board in the Prestige Oak range and the...
